REALTOR® Family Designation Programs

The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® has nine affiliated Institutes, Societies, and Councils that provide a wide-ranging menu of programs and services that assist members in increasing skills, productivity and knowledge. Designations acknowledging experience and expertise in various real estate sectors are awarded by each Affiliated group upon completion of required courses. In addition, NAR offers five certification programs to its members.


Accredited Buyer's Representative

ABR,  Robert Patton is an Accredited Buyer's Representative


 The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded to real estate practitioners who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria.

Over 30,000 ABR® designees have completed the REBAC course, passed the test and provided documentation of buyer agency experience.

Certified Residential Specialist

CRS®,  Robert Patton is a Certified Residential Specialist®


 The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the highest designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field. The CRS designation recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience and education. Currently fewer than 4% of over one million real estate professionals in the United States have earned the CRS designation! The CRS® Designation is awarded to experienced REALTORS® who complete advanced training in listing and selling, and meet rigorous production requirements.
